The country’s Balance of Payments registered a deficit of Rs 15.15 billion in the 11th month of the current fiscal year 2020/21 against a surplus of Rs 179.37 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year.
The country’s current account remained at a deficit of Rs 247.08 billion in the 10th month of the current fiscal year compared to a deficit of Rs 96.18 billion in the same period of the previous year.
As per the macroeconomic report published by Nepal Rastra Bank, the year-on-year consumer price inflation stood at 3.02 per cent in the eighth month of fiscal 2020/21.
