There have been many fire incidents in the recent two months in Nepal. In the Nepali months of Baisakh and Jestha (mid-April to mid-June) the country witnessed a total of 385 fire incidents

The Shuklagandaki Municipality-12 in Tanahu has reported incidents of fire at different community forests for the past few days.

The smog seen in various parts of the country since the last some days is not going away soon.

Thick haze visible in the Kathmandu Valley as the pollutants' particles have accumulated in the atmosphere due to the forest fires in most of the districts of the country in recent days.

With the onset of dry and windy season, forest fires have started taking place in the district.
