The Supreme Court has issued an interim order withholding the enforcement of the Election Commission's decision to impose a fine on the Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra (Balen) Shah.
Mayor Balendra Shah has filed a lawsuit and a writ petition in the Supreme Court against the Election Commission's decision to take action against the people's representatives who failed to disclose their election expenditure details on time.
