An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted off the coast of Michoacan, Mexico.

At least six people were killed and 53 others injured in a collision between a bus and a cargo truck in the western Mexican state.

Drought conditions now cover 85 per cent of Mexico, and residents of the nation’s central region said on Thursday that lakes and reservoirs are simply drying up.
