The Pokhara-Baglung road section along the Mid-Hill Highway has been obstructed due to incessant rain since Tuesday evening.

Six people died and two others have gone missing in a landslide that occurred in Parbat district on Thursday night.

As landslides occurred in Korung Community Forest, a total of 33 households at Modi Rural Municipality-2 in Parbat district have been pushed to high risk of landslide.

With the increasing trends of tourism activities in the village, the people of Chitre village of Modi Rural Municipality in Parbat district, who had migrated to the nearby cities, have now returned to their place of origin.
