The Supreme Court has issued a verdict describing that the position of member of Nepal Medical Council Dr Tosima Karki is not a position of public benefit.
The Election Commission has scrapped the candidacy of Dr. Toshima Karki. She is the candidate of Rastriya Swatantra Party from constituency no 3 of Lalitpur district.
The Supreme Court of Nepal has given a direct order to the medical colleges, to not enrol more students than the given seats from the Nepal Medical Council.
