Polling centers have been set up for the March 9 presidential election to be held at Parliament Building premises in Kathmandu.

The CPN (UML) has sent a formal letter to all political parties except the Nepali Congress (NC) seeking support for its candidate in the presidential election.

Vice-Chairman of the CPN (UML), Subas Chandra Nemwang, has filed a nomination for the presidential election from the CPN (UML). The election to the post of President is taking place on March 9.
