Ukraine’s president made a surprise video appearance Saturday at Qatar’s Doha Forum, calling on the energy-rich nation and others to boost their production to counteract the loss of Russian energy supplies.

Protesters took to the streets in Moscow, St. Petersburg and across Russia on Friday to decry the invasion of Ukraine.

The number of Nepalese currently stranded in Ukraine is unknown. This has been a problem since the nation has been attacked by its neighboring country Russia on Thursday morning.
