World No-Tobacco Day

Various individuals and organisations have been honoured with 'Health Minister Bloomberg Public Health Award'

World No Tobacco Day is being observed with the theme of “Grow Food, Not Tobacco”.

More than 27,000 in the country die annually after consuming tobacco products, according to data with the National Health Education, Information and Communication Center.

Globally tobacco use is known to be among the leading causes of cancer, apart from it having other health impacts.
