The Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has broken yet another record today. On Sunday too, it had set a new record rising to 2,906.89 points and had remained stable the next day. However, today the Nepse index increased by 1.84 per cent or 53.44 points to rest at 2,960.14 points, an all-time high.
The sensitive index too went up by 1.43 per cent or 7.47 points to rest at 528.10 points. Meanwhile, the float index witnessed an increase of 1.96 per cent or 3.94 points to land at 205.22 points.
A total of 35,700,374 shares of 218 listed firms were traded today through 149,708 transactions. The daily turnover stood at over Rs 16.95 billion today.
