NEPSE index decreased by 16.67 points

This week, for the second consecutive day of trading, the capital market has seen a decline.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index, which decreased by 20 points on Sunday, decreased by 16.67 points today. According to NEPSE, today 28 lakh 29 thousand 426 shares of 260 companies were traded at Rs 92 crore two lakh 49 thousand.

Today, the business group has increased by 25.22 points, while the sub-indices of all other groups have decreased. The sub-index of non-life insurance group decreased by 137.37 and insurance group by 48.04 points. Today, banking group has decreased by 9.4 points, development bank group by 34.36 points, finance group by 12.65 points, hotel and tourism group by 17.78 points and hydropower group by 32.64 points.

Investment group zero.65, production and processing group 45.40, microfinance group 38.99, microfinance group 39.25, mutual fund group zero.12 and other groups decreased by eight points. Today the share price of Kalinchok Darshan Limited has taken a positive circuit while the price of Prabhu Bank Debenture 2087 has taken a negative circuit.

On the basis of transaction amount, Nawil Bank Limited's shares worth Rs 3 crore 62 lakh 79 thousand were traded today. Based on the number of shares traded, the most 140,647 shares of Global IME Bank Limited were bought and sold.
