The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index has lost 6.43 points to close at 1,958.94 points on Monday.
Similarly, the sensitive index fell 2.19 points to close at 385.33 points.
A total of 4,944,076 units of shares of 224 companies were traded for Rs 2.109 billion.
Only five sub-indices closed green as the rest out of total 13 closed red.
Meanwhile, Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer today with its prices surging by 8.13 percent.
Global IME Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top looser as it fell by 5.07 percent.
