KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates applicable for Thursday. As per the central bank, the US dollar is being traded at NPR 137.37 for buying and NPR 137.97 for selling.

The Euro is being exchanged at NPR 156.06 for buying and NPR 156.74 for selling. The UK pound sterling stands at NPR179.70 on the buying side and NPR 180.49 on the selling side, while the Swiss franc is being bought at NPR 168.50 and sold at NPR 169.24.

For the Australian dollar, the rates are NPR 86.36 for buying and NPR 86.74 for selling. The Canadian dollar is valued at NPR 99.08 for buying and NPR 99.51 for selling, whereas the Singapore dollar is set at NPR 104.10 for buying and NPR 104.55 for selling.

Ten Japanese yen are worth NPR 9.57 when buying and NPR 9.61 when selling. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at NPR 18.84 for buying and NPR 18.92 for selling. Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at NPR 36.59 for buying and NPR 36.75 for selling, and the Qatari riyal at NPR 37.69 and NPR 37.85 respectively.

In other rates, the Thai baht is being exchanged at NPR 4.11 for buying and NPR 4.13 for selling. The UAE dirham stands at NPR 37.40 for buying and NPR 37.56 for selling.

The Malaysian ringgit is valued at NPR 31.06 for buying and NPR 31.20 for selling. One hundred South Korean won are priced at NPR 9.67 for buying and NPR 9.71  for selling. The Swedish krona is set at NPR 14.06 and NPR 14.12 for buying and selling, while the Danish krone stands at NPR 20.90 and NPR 20.99 respectively.

Furthermore, the Hong Kong dollar is being traded at NPR 17.72 for buying and NPR17.79 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 447.91 for buying and NPR 449.87 for selling, the Bahraini dinar at NPR 365.97 and NPR 366.01 and the Omani rial at NPR 356.82 and NPR 358.38.

Lastly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
