The Nepal Oil Corporation has reduced the price of petroleum products effective from Thursday.
Issuing a press release on Wednesday, the NOC shared that the price of petrol has decreased by Rs 1 per litre, diesel and kerosene oil by Rs 2 per litre. The price of aviation fuel remains unchanged.
Following the price decrease, the price of petrol has reached Rs 167 per litre and diesel and kerosene oil Rs 155 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amalekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj.
In Surkhet and Dang, petrol will be priced at Rs 169 per litre while diesel and kerosene oil will cost 157 per litre.
Likewise, the price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 170 per litre and diesel and kerosene oil at Rs 158 per litre in Pokhara, Kathmandu, and Dipayal.
