Police apprehended 21 people allegedly involved in gambling offence from Dallu in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-15, on Tuesday.
One of the arrested has been identified as Nigesh Shrestha (37) of Tankeshwor in Kathmandu.
Acting on a tip-off that Prakash Shahi had been conducting gambling activities at his residence, security personnel deployed from the Swoyambhu-based Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC), nabbed them on Tuesday evening.
MPC also seized Rs 605,000 stake money and 26 walnuts that were used in gambling.
Further investigation into the case is underway, informed police.
