The National Examinations Board (NEB), Sanothimi, has announced the results of Class 12 final examinations.
A board meeting held today published the results through its website. NEB Chairperson Dr Mahashram Sharma said 52.91 per cent students passed the examinations, which is three per cent more as compared to last year.
According to the Board, total 390,868 students, including 193,933 boys and 196,914 girls, sat for the examinations commenced from April 14. Of them, 203,847 students passed the examinations. The number of students obtaining 3.61-4 GPA is 9,591.
The number of non-graded student is 187,021 (47.09 per cent). Examination of 102 students was cancelled.
Results can be viewed by logging in NEB's websites-- www.neb.gov.np, result.neb.gov.np, as well as Nepal Telecom's website -- www.neb.ntc.net.np. Similarly, it can be viewed sending SMS to 1600 typing neb space and symbol number and 1601 of the Nepal Telecom, added the Board.
