Police arrested a man on charge of involvement in stealing 13 laptops from Beshigaun in Gokarneshwor Municipality-8.
The arrested has been identified as Bishnu Adhikari, a local resident of Panchpokhari Thangpaal Rural Municipality-2 in Sindhupalchowk district.
Thirteen laptops were recently stolen from the godown of the Cargo Complex where imported goods are stored. The godown is operated by Tribhuvan International Airport's Branch Office and Nepal Transit and Godown Management Company Limited. After the company filed a complaint, security personnel deployed from the Kathmandu-based Metropolitan Crime Division (MCD) in coordination with security personnel posted at the airport nabbed Adhikari. The police also recovered eight laptops and two sets of chargers from his possession.
He has been handed over to the Metropolitan Police Sector for necessary action, informed MCD.
