The prohibitory order that has been imposed in Kathmandu valley is likely to be extended. Since the number of people being infected with the coronavirus has not gone down as expected the administrations of the three districts within Kathmandu are likely to extend the order.

The current prohibitory order will come to an end at midnight today. Even though public transportation has been allowed to operate within the valley the district administrations are likely to strictly monitor hotels and restaurants that have been allowed to provide home-delivery and take-away services.

Examinations will be allowed to take place by adopting all necessary health safety measures but other events will not be permitted.
