Police arrested six persons allegedly involved in a gambling offence in a house in Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10, on Sunday.
Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from Metropolitan Police Circle, Baneshwor raided the Mid-Baneshwor based house belonging to Ramkrishna KC and arrested six persons including Hem Karki (36), permanent resident of Khadadevi Rural Municipality-5 in Ramechhap district.
Police also seized Rs 448,500 and 63 packs of playing cards from the house.
Further investigation into the case is underway, said police.
