Submit the annual report of the National Human Rights Commission to President Paudel

President Ramchandra Paudel has said that only if human rights are respected, protected, and promoted, the parliamentary democratic governance system based on the rule of law and pluralism will be strengthened in the country.

Accepting the annual report of the National Human Rights Commission for the fiscal year 2079/80, he said that only if human rights are respected, protected, and promoted, no citizen should be deprived of the guarantee of human rights.

 President Paudel suggested that the Commission should always become a center of faith, trust, and confidence for the common people by guaranteeing human rights.

President Paudel said that it is necessary to realize the national resolution of building an egalitarian society based on the principle of equality, inclusiveness, and participation without allowing any kind of discrimination such as class, caste, region, linguistic, religion, gender, etc.

He said that he believes that the commission will inform the government of the challenges and problems seen in the field of human rights protection in time that the government will also address the problems of the commission promptly and that the commission will carry out its constitutional obligations and duties more effectively in the future. In that program, the Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission, Tap Bahadur Magar, gave brief information about the commission's annual report for the financial year 2079-80.
