Thankot-based Metropolitan Police Circle (MPC) held a teenager with 1.9 kg of marijuana from Chandragiri Municipality-2 in Kathmandu on Thursday afternoon.
The arrested teen has been identified as Krishna Bahadur Adhikari (19) of Machapuchchre Rural Municipality-8 in Kaski district.
Adhikari was travelling on a bus with registration number BA 3 KHA 7544 which was heading towards Kathmandu from Dhading. MPC nabbed Adhikari with the substance during a routine vehicle check, in Nagdhunga. He had been hiding the marijuana in a plastic bag.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, informed MPC, Thankot.
