KATHMANDU: Three people have been detained at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) for carrying 5.7 kg of gold.
A Chinese citizen and two individuals from Myanmar, who flew into Kathmandu from Sharjah on an Air Arabia flight, were apprehended on Tuesday evening, as reported by the Office of the Armed Police Force Nepal at TIA.
An investigation is currently underway, and the suspects are being held at the TIA Customs Office.
