Traffic control training started

The 143rd group traffic control training has started with the support of National Police Training Academy, Maharajgunj.

 Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the training at the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division, Chief of the Division, Senior Superintendent of Police Umesh Raj Joshi said that such vocational training would play an important role in the professional development of the trainees.

 He expressed the belief that the training would also help in personality development. It has been stated that the training will be fruitful for the highest utilization of human and material resources of the traffic police to identify and solve special problems in view of the increasing challenges of traffic management.

 He stressed on the need to facilitate the traffic management work by providing simple and easy service to the road users. He also urged the trainees to use the training as a special opportunity to become more studious and diligent while maintaining military discipline.

 Presenting a report on the training, Deputy Superintendent of Police Santosh Roka said that a total of 77 trainees including two police constables and 75 police personnel participated in the 45-day training. In the training, theoretical and practical training will be provided by resource persons and subject matter experts in various subjects of traffic management.
