Police in Lalitpur district on Sunday evening arrested two youths on charge of forging a vehicle pass from Ekantakuna in Lalitpur Metropolitan-13.
The arrested have been identified as Dinesh Gurung (23) and Ambar Gurung (28), both local residents of Majhuwagadhi Municipality-11 in Khotang district.
Ambar Gurung and Dinesh Gurungs's motorcycles with vehicle registration BA 81 PA 793 and PRA 1-02-9040 PA 8611 were found with the pass issued from the same office with the same serial number.
Security personnel deployed from the Lalitpur police arrested them after it was found that the vehicle pass was forged with a government seal and signature during a routine vehicle check.
They have been charged on a misconduct case and further investigation into the case is underway, informed Metropolitan Police Sector, Lalitpur.
