Kathmandu Metropolitan City is starting to remove unauthorized signboards from today. The metropolis had issued a 30-day public notice to remove signboards that have the standard size but have not paid the fee and are larger than the prescribed size.
All boards larger than 30 square feet will be removed. The sponsor's name should also be within this size. Boards within the standards can be placed after paying revenue by going to the ward. Boards of any size bigger than 30 square feet will be removed from commercial premises.
