Anandadi Lokeshwar is a temple dedicated to one of the four main Bodhisattvas (Lokeshwars) in the Kathmandu Valley. Chait Shukla Ashtami, or Chaite Dashain, is celebrated as a week before the great bathing of the Lord. During this time, the Nemkul priest of a small village paints and repairs the statue of the god. On the main day of the week, people go to Nakhu Dobhan and perform Dya Lagu ceremony.
