Puja Ceremony at Everest Base Camp

Currently, various climbing teams are gathering at Everest base camp for climbing.

  Today, the climbing team including members from Nepal, Canada and France performed Puja ceremony at the Everest base camp according to Buddhist tradition. The Buddhist Lama Guru was conducting the puja. The members of the climbing team as well as all the helpers involved in the team were present in the puja. There is a tradition of worshiping Mount Everest before climbing it. According to the base camp team of Thamserku Expedition Tonight High Altitude Climbing Sherpa staff will move to camp2 for camp setup. Nepalese Climber Sonam Sherpa, Nicolas from Canada and Robert from France will move to camp1 for second rotation on April 27th.
