KATHMANDU: The price of gold, which dropped by Rs 2,200 per tola on Sunday, has experienced a slight increase today.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation, the price of gold has risen by Rs 400 per tola, bringing it to Rs 151,200.
On Sunday, the price had fallen to Rs 150,800 per tola.
Meanwhile, the price of silver remains stable at Rs 1,840 per tola, according to the federation.
Gold prices have been volatile recently. After increasing by Rs 4,500 last week, gold dropped by Rs 2,200 on Sunday and by Rs 1,200 on Friday.
Three weeks ago, the price of gold plummeted by Rs 18,500 per tola within just two days.
