102,0000 doses of Vero Cell vaccines have arrived from China today.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) the vaccines arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport at 9:45 am.
Spokesperson of MoHP, Dr Krishna Prasad Poudel informed that the vaccines were purchased by the Government of Nepal (GON) under the COVAX cost sharing facility.
Nepal has signed for purchase of 5.9 million vaccines, under which the first batch of vaccine has arrived.
