292 people corona positive in Province 1

In the last 24 hours, 292 people have contracted corona in Province 1. According to the Ministry of Social Development, the PCR test of 574 people confirmed the infection in 250 people and the antigen test of 303 people confirmed the infection in 42 people.

According to the ministry, 132 people were infected in Morang, 67 in Sunsari, 33 in Jhapa, two in Udaipur, one each in Dhankuta, Sankhuwasabha, Ilam, Panchthar, and Bhojpur, and 11 people from outside the state.

114 in Biratnagar of Morang, four in Sundaraharaincha, two each in Patharishanischare, Budhiganga and Katahari, one each in Ratuwamai, Kanepokhari, Dhanpalathan, Sunvarshi, Gramthan, Urlabari and Letang, one each in Belbari, 43 in Sunsari's Dharan, 17 in Itahari, two in Inaruwa and three in Dumavi. Two in Jhapa, nine in Birtamod, seven in Bhadrapur, four each in Damak and Mechinagar, two each in Arjundhara and Shivasatakshi, one each in Buddhashanti, Kachankawal, Bahardashi, Haldibari and Kankai, one each in Triyuga and Katari of Udaipur, five in Dhankuta, Chulachuli of Ilam, Miklajung of Panchthar and Shadananda of Bhojpur and 11 people from outside the state have been infected.

Eight people, including four women, have died of corona infection in the state today, while one man has died of corona infection. The ministry said that the number of actively infected people was 838.
