Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki said the State should take special efforts to provide employment to the youth force within the country.
Honouring the students obtaining the highest GPA in SEE at a programme organized by Yashodadevi Bhagawani Singh KC Memorial Trust on Saturday, former CJ Karki stressed the need for the government to bring special measures to check Nepali youths going abroad. The trend of going abroad was mostly for employment in the past; now the trend is for education, she observed.
"The government should be serious towards creating employment opportunities in the country", she said, adding, "The policy should be devised to bring back qualified human resource".
She drew the attention of all three tiers of the government towards building a prosperous nation through the utilization of natural resources and fertile land.
On the occasion, the Trust honoured the SEE high scoring students and high performing public schools of Nuwakot and Rasuwa in the educational years of 2078 and 2079.
