Eleven children have died in three-years from leopard attack in Tanahu. A number of children have lost their lives due to leopard attack in Bhanu, Bandipur, Aanbu, Vyas and other municipalities of the district. More than half a dozen children were injured in the leopard attack.

Most of them have been affected in Bhanu municipality while leopard terror has been increasing in Bandipur area in recent days.

A trap has been set after two people were injured in a leopard attack in a forest in Bagdale of Bandipur Gaonpalika-1 on Saturday. Riyana Thapa, 8, and Bhim Lal Garanna, 35, were injured in a leopard attack in Bandipur on Saturday.

After the leopard terror started increasing in the Bandipur area of ​​Tanahu, the Division Forest Office has set up a cage for leopard control in Tanahu.

There is a trap for goats in the forest. According to the Division Forest Office, Tanahu, it would be easy to control the leopards as they would fall into the trap while eating the goats. Attempts have been made to control the leopard in collaboration with the Division Forest Office at the request of the ward office, said Ward Chairman of Bandipur-1 Shiva Kumar Shrestha.

He said that efforts have been made to control the leopards and send them safely to the wildlife conservation area as the terror of leopards in the area has created panic among the people. The Division One Office has also taken initiative to control the leopards as there is a possibility of leopards attack, said Chairman Shrestha. Chief of the Division One Office, Tanahun, Komal Prasad Kafle said that the public has been urged to be on high alert in the morning and evening.
