In the process of compiling the voters' list with photos, 30,000 voters have been added in Morang.
According to the State Election Office, Morang, the election voter registration campaign was conducted in each municipality from December 3 to January 2. It was informed at an all-party meeting chaired by Chief District Officer Kashiraj Dahal that the campaign will be conducted in four places of the district from January 6 to 7 to get the missing voters to participate in the campaign.
According to Levan Kashyap Adhikari, Chief of the Provincial Election Office, the work of compiling the voter list will be done at the Area Administration Office Rangeli, Area Administration Office Urlabari, District Administration Office Morang, and Election Provincial Office Biratnagar.
He urged the district administration office and the state election office to compile the voter list with regular photographs by adding a unit with additional manpower in all four places to get the exempted voters to participate.
There were 669,000 voters in Morang, which has 17 municipalities and six constituencies, including one metropolitan city.
