The epicenter was reported near Changunarayan in Bhaktapur district. According to the National Earthquake Measurement and Research Center, a magnitude 4.7 earthquake centered around Changunarayan in Bhaktapur at 2:36 am this morning. The epicenter was reported below the epicenter, according to the US Geological Survey.
Sujan Kumar Subedi, a seismologist at the Center, informed that there were 583 earthquakes above 4 magnitude in Nepal after the Gorkha earthquake on April 25, 2015 AD. The quake affected Kathmandu Valley and surrounding districts.
