Police in Okhaldhunga district on Sunday arrested a man on the charge of sexually abusing a seven-year-old girl.
The arrested has been identified as Daan Bahadur Karki (71), a residence of Mamkha in Chisakhugadhi Rural Municipality-7 in the district.
Acting on a tip-off, security personnel deployed from Rumjatar Airport arrested the accused elderly man on Sunday evening, police informed.
Over the past few years, rape and child sexual abuse cases have been increasing dramatically in Nepal.
