Chairperson Oli defends his past moves

CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has claimed that he has not done anything by going against the laws during his stay in power.

Addressing the party-aligned ex-army personnel and police personnel, Oli said that his government in the past took decisions by meeting the legal obligations. "During my premiership, foreign minister and home minister, I have taken decisions by going through the pages of law," Oli argued.

On the occasion, Oli asked his opponents not to plot trap against him adding that his cabinet's decision on Giribandhu Tea Estate is in line with law.

Likewise, the former Prime Minister said that the attempts are ongoing to create conflict in linguistic, religious and cultural backgrounds cautioning that such moves would create communal conflicts and the people should be aware of this.
