In Kanchanpur, the police have arrested four people on the charge of gang rape.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Chakra Bahadur Shah said that those arrested are Sushil Bista, Prithvi Bhat Chhetri, Lakshman Sunar, and armed police constable Yama Prasad Jaishi working at BOP Bichfanta of Punarwas Municipality-9.
They have been accused of gang-raping a 20-year-old girl. Sushil Bista, who is said to be in a relationship with the girl, put her on a motorcycle and took her to the sugarcane field, where three other people also raped her, the police said.
