'Further broaden constitution's acceptance and credibility'

Lumbini Province Chief Amik Sherchan noted that a guarantee of self-employment was imperative to further broaden the acceptance and credibility of the republican constitution.

In a message delivered on Republic Day-2022 today, he said true implementation of the constitution would be made possible when tens of thousands of unemployed and most disadvantaged people were assured of self-employment opportunities within the country.

"National industrial development was a pre-condition for making the country sovereign and strengthening our national unity", the message reads.

Province Chief Sherchan wished that may all of us work together to ensure good governance and sustainable peace in the country through three tiers of inclusive and proportional governance system by upholding the values of the federal democratic republican system.
