Govt needs to ensure safe air service: VP Pun

Vice President Nanda Bahadur Pun has urged the government to ensure safe air service.

Issuing a condolence message on Sunday, Vice President Pun said he was saddened over the loss of lives in the Pokhara plane crash. "I express deep grief over the loss of lives in the largest accident in domestic aviation in Nepal. I pay tributes to all those killed in the crash and extend condolences to the bereaved family members," the Vice President added.

He also believed that the commission formed to study the plane crash would investigate thoroughly to find the causes of the accident and recommend measures to prevent such accidents in the future.

The Pokhara plane crash is an irreparable loss to the country, Pun viewed.
