With the start of the second wave of Coronavirus infection in neighboring country India, high alertness has been adopted at Nepal-India bordering areas in Siraha district.

According to the District Health Office, Siraha, a health desk has been established at Madar, Thadi, Bariyarpatti, Aurahi, and Nabarajpur border points in Siraha district, citing coronavirus infection could be spread in the district as the number of COVID-19 cases has increased all of sudden in India.

Chief of the District Health Office, Siraha, Krishna Dev Yadav said health alertness has been increased by establishing health desks in these areas, where there is a high flow of movement of people from the Indian market.

Health desks were established in these areas last year. Similarly, District Administration Office, Siraha, has urged Siraha folks to celebrate the Holi festival at their own house by fulfilling necessary health safety measures.
