Late Mahakavi Devkota's house demolished

Workers demolishing the house that once belonged to the late Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota.

The house that once belonged to the late Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota has been demolished to make a museum.

The government bought the house located in Maitidevi, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-30 for Rs 25 million and handed it over to the Nepal Academy to make it a museum.

It has been reported that Mahakavi had bought the house in 1990 BS.
