In Baitadi, Binasaum of Dasharatchand Municipality, a leopard has been caught in a trap set by the locals in a corn field for wild boars.
According to Bhim Prasad Kandel, head of the Division Forest Office, the locals saw the trapped leopard.
The rescue team is expected to arrive by this evening. "Until then, the Nepalese army team will try to safely cage the leopard", Kandel said.
