Nepalese Ambassador for USA Sridhar Khatri welcomed Saraswati Nepali

Nepalese Ambassador for the United States of America USA Sridhar Khatri welcomed Saraswati Nepali, one of the awardees as the 2023 Global Anti-Racism Champion (GARC) at the Embassy of Nepal in Washington DC. During the meeting, Ambassador congratulated Ms. Nepali on being recognized for over two decades of work in advocating for the marginalized community in rural western Nepal, especially in her home district Baitadi.

 She also shared about her multiple projects, including legal and land titles justice for Dalit families.

She is the president of the Dalit Society Development Forum. Jaya Ram Nepali from the US Embassy, Nepal and Chidera C. Nwaubi from the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor Office of South and Central Asia also joined the meeting.
