One-way traffic has begun along the Prithvi Highway which was earlier disrupted due to a depressed road at Ambukhaireni Rural Municipality-4 of Tanahun district.
All kinds of vehicles were operated one way after opening a track.
Superintendent of Police in Tanahu, Yubraj Khadka, has said the vehicles were operated one way after opening the track throughout Friday night. The vehicular movement was halted from 7:00 pm Friday to 6:00 am Saturday to open the track, he added.
Due to one-way traffic, there is still congestion. Currently, there is a traffic jam in the Anbukhaireni-Dumre section of Prithvi Highway.
The bus passengers and commuters have faced sheer inconvenience due to the disruption of roadways in different places of Tanahu. The rainfall triggering landslips and deposit of debris has blocked the way.
