PM Dhal's wife Sita Dahal cremated

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's wife Sita Dahal was cremated at Pashupati Arya Ghat today. She was cremated at Aryaghat this afternoon according to Hindu rites.

At that time, Prime Minister Prachanda had lit a flame on his wife Sita's mortal body. At that time, the Nepali army offered the last salute. A large number of people were present at Aryaghat.

Leaders of various parties, ministers as well as high ranking persons were present there.

Sita Dahal died at the age of 69 this morning at Norvic Hospital. She had been in ill health for some years. Her body was kept at the office of the Maoist center for 2 hours to pay homage.
