Police in Kanchanpur district arrested three persons involved in killing a man from Bheemdutt Municipality-9 on Monday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Bohora (32), a local resident of Brahmadev in the same municipality.
The arrested have been identified as Prakash Pal (30), Hansh Pal (55), and Lal Bahadur Bohora (43), all local residents of the same municipality in the district.
The three accused and the deceased got involved in an altercation in Prakash Pal's shop on Sunday night, during which Ganesh Bohora was severely thrashed. The injured was taken to Mahendranagar-based Mahakali Provincial Hospital for treatment. He was pronounced dead on Monday morning, informed the hospital.
Acting on a tip-off, Brahmadev-based Police Office personnel nabbed all the accused involved in the incident.
Further investigation into the case is being carried out, said the police.
