Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has left for Uganda leading the Nepali delegation to participate in the 19th Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM). He left this morning from Qatar Airlines.
The conference will be held on January 19 and 20 in Kampala, the capital of the Republic of Uganda.
His daughter Ganga Dahal, Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud, Foreign Secretary Seva Lamsal, senior officials of the Government of Nepal are participating in the delegation led by the Prime Minister.
Prime Minister Dahal is scheduled to address the summit on 'Intensive Cooperation for Shared Global Prosperity' tomorrow, Friday.
On the same day, Prime Minister Dahal will attend a state banquet hosted by the President of the Republic of Uganda, General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, in honor of the heads of the delegation.

During the summit, Prime Minister Dahal will hold bilateral meetings with the participating heads of state, heads of government and other high-ranking personalities. Earlier, Foreign Minister Saud has already left for the ministerial meeting.
It is said that the summit will deliberate on the report of the ministerial meeting, review the progress achieved in implementing the results of the 18th summit in 2019 and conclude by adopting the Kampala Declaration.
Nepal is a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement and has been actively participating in the All NAM Summit since its inception.
The principle of non-alignment is one of the basic principles of Nepal's foreign policy.
