Public holiday on the occasion of Bakra-Eid Wednesday

The government has declared a nationwide public holiday on the occasion of the Bakra-Eid festival on Wednesday.

Issuing a notice today, the Ministry of Home Affairs said that the government has decided to declare the day a public holiday on Bakra-Eid also known as Eid-al-Adha.

Muslims observe the festivity with great fervour as it is one of the biggest festivals of the community. The notice issued by Ministry’s spokesperson Janakraj Dahal shared that the meeting of the Council of Ministers Tuesday took the decision to this effect.
