The murder which took place on Monday in Madi Municipality-1, Sankhuwasabha district of six family members bodies have been ferried to Dharan-based BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS) for autopsy.
The investigation process in the case took a lot of time so the bodies were sent to BPKIHS, Dharan for an autopsy today, said Mayor Bidur Lithep of Madi Municipality.
According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Laldhwaj Subedi, those killed in the incident have been identified as Tej Bahadur Karki (58), Karki's mother Parbata (84) spouse Kamala (52) daughter-in-law Ranjana (28) grandson Dipen (11), and grand-daughter Goma (5). All members were killed except grandfather Boudhman Karki (84).
Similarly, Sankhuwasabha CDO Teknarayan Poudel informed to Home Minister that six members of a family in Madi Municipality-1 of Sankhuwasabha were killed in an attack that was carried out using a sharp weapon.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the case has been carried out, informed police.
