Police arrested a youth on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl in Gulariya Municipality-6, Baridya district, on Friday morning.
The accused has been identified as Sonu Raidas (19) of Shanti Tole in Gulariya-6.
Raidas allegedly took the girl to his room where he repeatedly raped her for two days promising to marry her. Acting on the complaint, police personnel deployed from Bardiya District Police Office (DPO) arrested the teenage boy.
Further investigation into the cases is underway, informed the DPO.
